Wow - it's really hard to find a fun, clever, and unique name for a blog! So I'm on my second name here. I started with January Stitching (seeing as my name is January, and its about stitching - genius!), but it seemed boring, and not likely to be found. So then someone suggested "Life in Stitches", and I thought it was great... Well, turns out there are a TON of blogs with that name...
I'm not sure how much the name really matters, but when you grow up with a name like January, you are kind of used to the unique-ness, and its tough to get over.

My name is January, and I live in Waterloo, Ontario. I have been stitching since 1997, and I decided to create this blog as a way to keep track of why I did a piece, when I did it, and who I did it for. Think of it as an electronic stitching journal.
